Connecting a Domain Purchased Elsewhere

Once you sign up to any one of our Plans, you can connect a domain you've purchased from a different domain registrar to your Webbie site.

You can connect an external domain to Webbie using one of the following options:

  • Connect an existing domain to Webbie
Your domain remains with the domain host that you purchased the domain from, but is connected to your Webbie site. There are 2 connection methods:
    Connecting via name servers (recommended)
    Connecting via pointing (not recommended)

Note: If you connected your domain to Webbie and can't access your site via your domain, use our Domain Troubleshooter to find out if there is a connection problem.

  • Transfer a domain to Webbie
Your domain, and all aspects of managing it, are moved from the domain host you purchased the domain from to Webbie. Click here to learn more about transferring your domain to Webbie.
